Lozova Macedonia - November 2008

I was thinking yesterday how wonderful it is that God is so gracious to us and that He loves us so  much that He would send His Son Jesus Christ to die on a cross for all mankind.  I’m sure you also consider this from time to time.
Then I got emotionally blasted when I received an email with feedback from Romania and Macedonia - the reality is God is moving in the nations!

Let me share something that I have only just received from Macedonia (mission in October last year).  We held a meal event for Couples - it was a late planned meeting.  I wasn’t sure how many folks would show up as the meeting was a last minute thing.  However, I was amazed; the place was packed.  At that meeting in ‘Lozovo’, I looked across from where I was sitting before I got up to speak and there was this lady in a red dress, with really bright coloured hair looking at me intensely.  After we all had eaten, I got up to speak and concluded my message with the story of ‘the lost coin’.  As part of my message I used a silver coloured coin - when I finished an ‘invitation’ prayer, for those that wanted to come to Christ, I gave this lady the coin.  She was so pleased.  I sat down and there she was, looking at me again, this time looking very happy and showing me her new found coin.

What I didn’t know was that she was celebrating her new found faith in Jesus!  Listen to her testimony....her name is Cvetanka.  “Before I heard about Jesus everything looked dark and gloomy.  I didn’t know how to follow Jesus until you told us how, and now I have found him, I will follow him all my days.  I feel better with him, than I did before”...she smiles.

There was no Church in Lozovo before we went there.  This lady Cvetanka hasn’t missed a meeting since October!  Isn’t God so good?
