Is there any hope for the future?

Our nation is in a recession; the world is in recession - every time we switch on the television or the radio, we are told how bad things are.
The truth is that things are not good for many people, and at times like this we can sometimes sigh and think, ‘is there any hope for the future?’  How long will it be until things turn around and life looks brighter?  At times like this we may start to consider our frailty; our inability to ’control’ things.

No matter what our current state is, it would be so much worse if we were not able to answer the question of ‘hope’.  I remember what it was like; not to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour - no hope.  Yet, He loved me so much that he died for me on that cross; that I would have forgiveness of sin and life eternal; not only when I die, but life now, in all its fullness (John 10:10).  Through the blood of Jesus we can receive life; we can live the Kingdom life, and even when we have ‘nothing’ in the eyes of the world we have hope, for the now and for the future.

May God bless you today.  If you have never experienced this ‘hope and life’, send me an email and let’s talk about how you can receive and experience it.
