Kosova June 2006 - Alan Heavey in Istog, Peja, Meja, Krushe and Gjakova

The Church in Kosova is very small, since the country is predominantly Muslim.  Despite this, over 250 people made first time decisions for Jesus and over 370 are requesting more information and further contact.  In Gjakova, people have already attended the ‘Next Step’ meetings - praise the Lord!
Such Joy - Po, Po (Yes, Yes) was the call at some events when Alan asked if anyone wanted to take a step of faith and open their lives to Jesus.  This was so exiting to see the Good News penetrate some of the darkest and saddest of hearts.  The response to, ‘What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?...’, was quite remarkable!
Wednesday 5th July update - From the Pastor of a small church in Gjakova - our national co-ordinator: “Alan, greetings from Gjakova. It was a good week together with you in Gjakova.  We are thankful to you for everything.  About follow-up I can say it was good. I don’t know for all churches involved, but;
From the Couples Event came: 19
From the Unemployed came: 16
From the Gypsy event came: 48
From the Pensioners meeting came: 12
Our Church was blessed from this project.  For the first time in our history we have near 100 people in the service last Sunday.  This is a miracle.”
