Truth is stranger than fiction!

‘Truth is stranger than fiction’ in Macedonia

A story to encourage you:
Back in 2008 Trajche was living life a million miles away from God,  he was drinking heavily and life had little meaning for him.  One night during a drinking spree, he was driving home across a railway line crossing, when, unfortunately he fell asleep in the car  whilst it was ‘parked’ on the line! Thinking he was in bed, Trajche believed he was having  a dream where he was asleep on the railway line and a train was hurtling toward him.  He saw Jesus before him and suddenly ‘came to’ , immediately realised that he wasn’t in bed dreaming, but about to be hit by a speeding train!  He accelerated the car just in time to miss the train as it rushed past him.

This whole event shocked him, especially when Jesus appeared!  Thereafter, Trajche started to visit the local church - just listening on the outside of the door initially, not even wanting to go in.  After some time, he accepted an invitation to a meal event in a restaurant back in 2008 where I was sharing the gospel.  At this meeting he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour – and this man’s life has totally changed from that day.  During my recent return visit to this village in Macedonia , this same man stood up in a meal event meeting just before I spoke and shared his story of how God has changed his life over these last 4 years – he is now part of a team that shares the gospel all over Macedonia and helps to support the young church.
