Alan travelled to Baia Mare with John Grant on 6th November John Grant’s comments: We give thanks and praise to God for what he did and will continue to do after this Mission to Baia Mare. We give thanks too, for a remarkable bonding together of the team from the UK with the Romanians to accomplish his purposes, and for the sacrificial giving of the churches to make this outreach possible and continue it to the Next Steps and Discipleship programmes A special vote of thanks needs to be given to Daniel Rus and his team, not forgetting the great work of interpretation done by Stefan Vasutiu and Anca Rus without whom this outreach would not have been possible. To statistically recap : • 383 people attended the events - 440 were projected, so a 87% figure was achieved, but included in this figure was a very high percentage of Christians - nearly 60% with the bands and team members • 164 non believers were guests at the events • 60 of these indicated on the response forms that they had given their lives to Christ • 101 wanted more information • 173 said they would like to attend a next step event following the first step of accepting Christ
