Satu Mare, Romania Nov 2009
 
Dear Friends    If you have been following recent events you will know the great trip we had to Baia Mare last weekend (6-9 Nov 09) and that John Grant, the Mission Director for LPA and I returned to Romania last Friday, this time to Satu Mare (very close to the Hungarian border – see map below).  The programme was as below - numbers of invited guests were higher than anticipated; however we were not going to turn any guests away!   We flew from Luton to Cluj-Napoca and then travelled by car to Satu Mare.  I spoke at the various meetings identified below: Friday evening – Youth Pizza event Saturday morning – Senior’s Breakfast Saturday lunchtime – Children’s event Saturday afternoon – Ladies Buffet Saturday evening – Couples Dinner Sunday morning – Local Church Sunday midday – VIP Lunch Sunday evening – Combined Churches Celebration Service   So what happened?  These are some statistics to give you some idea of what took place: We witnessed God moving in power this weekend.
Friday night - Youth event: 54 decisions for Jesus
Saturday morning - Senior's breakfast: 18 decisions out of 20 guests
Saturday Lunchtime - Children's Pizza event: 102 decisions.  190 people there in total
Saturday late afternoon - Ladies Buffet: 170 total people present; 90 guests of which 60 ladies prayed to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. 
Saturday night - Couples Dinner: 320 total people present; 210 guests, of which 95 made decisions for Jesus.  Sunday morning – speaking in a small church.  8 decisions for Jesus and many came forward to be prayed for healing. Sunday lunchtime – VIP lunch.  VIPs were politicians, senior police officials, lawyers, businessmen etc.  90 people present; 50 guests – 23 made decisions for Jesus.  Amazing! Combined Church service – this was to celebrate the weekend’s outreach. A great meeting, with estimated 700 people meeting to give God thanks for what he has done.  Following an invitation, 10 guests prayed to receive Jesus as their Saviour.    We really appreciate your ongoing support and it’s so exciting knowing you are with us in this as we see Jesus save, heal and deliver throughout the nations!  I love to hear from you, so please get in touch.   Thank you and God bless you Alan
