The final picture - Galati April 2008

Dear Friends
This is the first opportunity for an update since Friday evening.
Saturday events:
Men's coffee - 5 guests (invited non believers); 3 decisions for Jesus; 9 Next Step; 8 more info.  This was a good meeting although pretty low numbers attending.
Children's meeting in the Baptist Church - a good meeting.  All I had to do was wrap me everything up.  Two men gave their lives to the Lord accompanied by the audible sound of many young people doing the same.
Teachers lunch - 60 guests; 13 decisions for Jesus; 20 Next Steps; 15 more info.
Teenagers Pizza - This was a great meeting.  115 guests; 27 decisions for Jesus; 54 Next Steps; 14 more info.
Couples meeting - This was also a very good meeting.   97 guests; 31 decisions for Jesus; 61 Next Steps; 18 more info.  You could hear a pin drop; 147 people in the room; so quiet and attentive and obviously responsive.
Sunday morning:
Combined Churches service - I guess 600 present.  It was a time of celebration and encouragement; a time of challenging the church in holding onto the ground taken from the enemy - nurturing and discipling; evangelistic; motivating the preachers and evangelists and prayer intercessors; and praying for all in leadership.
Two decisions for Jesus and 1 rededication.   All this in a Palm Sunday message - praise the Lord for His goodness.
I’m back home now, safe and sound although somewhat tired.
I appreciate so much your prayers and support.  Please encourage others to pray and get excited by following the ‘Harvest Trail’; share this great news with your friends and Churches.
We give all the glory to God for what He has accomplished.
This a brief summary of the mission.  If you would like more in-depth news and stories, please email me.
Bless you
Alan
