Chojnice and Torun Poland update
The last update was on Saturday following the meetings in Slupsk. This is the 1st opportunity to update you since then.
Chojnice - Sunday. The Couples Lunch followed on from a motivational combined Churches service. 90 were present for the lunch - 54 guests. From the guests, 24 prayed to receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour; 21 requested more information and 25 signed up for the Next Step meeting.
The next event was for the Youth - Pizza! 85 were present - 45 guests, from which 11 prayed to receive Jesus; 25 requested more information and 27 signed up for the Next Step meeting.
The last event of the day was a Ladies meeting, where 53 were present - 29 ladies were guests. 13 of the guests prayed to receive Jesus; 10 requested more information and 15 signed up for the Next Step meeting.
Chojnice - Monday. The first meeting was a coffee event for Senior and Disabled people. 37 were present for the lunch - 20 guests. From the guests, 15 prayed to receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour; 13 requested more information and 16 signed up for the Next Step meeting. This was such a beautiful time, with the sweet presence of Jesus hanging in the air - amazing.
The Last event was a Business and Professionals Dinner. 41 were present - 21 guests, from which 8 prayed to receive Jesus; 10 requested more information and 18 signed up for the Next Step meeting. This was a very powerful meeting. One of the decisions for Jesus was from someone who the Church had been praying for during the last 3 years - great joy! A couple came, even though the man had vowed that he would never step inside of the Church, which he said was a sect. God is doing something quite incredible here.
Torun - Tuesday 13th November. We travelled to Torun and attended a team meeting following checking in at our hotel. The 1st meeting was for Teachers - a dinner. 45 were present - 30 guests, from which 10 prayed to receive Jesus; 4 requested more information and 7 signed up for the Next Step meeting.
The last meeting was a dinner for Business and Professionals. 50 were present - 40 guests, from which 6 prayed to receive Jesus; 14 requested more information and 9 signed up for the Next Step meeting.
We have been made very welcome here and incredibly blessed by the Godly leaders. Both these meetings were very encouraging, both for the Church and for us. Many positive comments were written by the guests. I am very excited to hear what the Lord is going to do as the next few weeks unfold.
